GUTHRIE, Okla. - All great ideas begin as a seed.

Nurtured and cultivated, they will flourish.

And, so begins the story of a small parcel of land in Logan County.

Johnny Coleman had a brilliant idea to grow fresh produce for Guthrie's less fortunate.

He shared the vision with his friend and mortgage broker, Jennifer Bozarth.

"I get sick of sitting behind the desk, and it's very relaxing on the tractor," Bozarth said.

Together, they launched 'Vision Farm' three years ago and hope to grown 10,000 pounds of food this season.

"We are trying to get better, healthier food into those who need it most," Bozarth said.

Because of her exceptional dedication to others, Coleman nominated Bozarth for First Fidelity Bank's Pay it 4Ward.

"She has a million thoughts, but 900,000 are about others," Coleman said. "Almost everything she does is focused on the welfare of others."

With an army of friends and family, we recently paraded through Guthrie and the Oklahoma wind into Bozarth's downtown office.

Coleman had the honors of surprising his friend with $400.

"Jennifer, you're the only person I know, in my 65 years, that gets up every day for everyone else," Coleman said. "You don't get up for you to worship money. You get up for everyone else. I want to give you $400 to further anything you desire."

Bozarth pledges to use this money for 'Vision Farm' and 'Brunch on Noble,' a free, weekly meal for anyone in need.

"Definitely for the endeavors here, to feed our community," Bozarth said.

The folks are planting seeds of hope and, through hard work, the ministry is flourishing.
